Job summary: Title: Automation Tester with Government experience-Remote-Locals to Austin, TX Only Location: Remote Length and terms: 6 Months-1 Year Contract – W2 or C2C Position created on 01/24/2024 05:31 pm Job description: • Webcam interview6 Months-1 Year ContractRemoteLocals to Austin, TX Only** Skills: • 8 years Required Automated QA Testing Experience • 8 years Required QA Test Script Creation Experience • 8 years Required Manual Test Script Execution Experience • 3 years Preferred QA Automated Test Case Reporting Experience • 3 years Preferred JavaScript, HTML Experience • 3 years Preferred Agile, Scrum, and Jira Experience Description: • QA automation engineers design automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically. • This includes determining the priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios. • Designing documentation for automated processes. • This position will perform Quality Assurance activities for a new Salesforce application for the (PCS) Contract Operations team. • The new application is part of an initiative to enhance and update the System Contract Operating and Reporting application to create a more robust and comprehensive system for agency contract management, monitoring, and compliance activities. • This role will be responsible for the development and maintenance of automated test cases using Selenium or similar technology, development, and maintenance of test scripts for both manual and automated testing. • Perform manual testing as required. • Track test case execution. • Establish regular automated schedules of test cases as well as required reporting. • Use of Jira to log and track defects. Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices. • Must have experience working in an Agile environment. • Support the development team as needed in dev, test, UAT, and production and troubleshoot the test cases as required. • Lead UAT testing activities as needed. • Available for on-call support as needed.
