Motion Designer (HYBRID)
Primary Function
Reporting to the Global Creative Lead, you will be responsible for creating 2D and 3D motion graphics to support client's global PR and communications human-centred storytelling strategies. You will be a detail-oriented individual, experienced in managing multiple concurrent projects within a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
ā¢ Translate strategic thinking into clear designs and content across social, web, platform and events.
ā¢ A strong concept generator, both independently and as part of a global team.
ā¢ Create storyboards, treatments and develop concepts, drawing on visual and cultural references to shape ideas that advance the brand and resonate with our audiences.
ā¢ Lead and/or partner with other designers and producers on larger campaigns to effectively execute the project on time and to the required standard
ā¢ Stay informed about motion trends, emerging tools, and industry best practices to ensure our visual storytelling remains innovative, fresh, and impactful.
ā¢ Be accountable, taking responsibility for every last detail of your work at each stage.
Skills & Qualifications
ā¢ You have 5+ years of experience working in the following areas and applications: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Cinema 4D or Blender.
ā¢ You have a proven track record of delivering brilliant motion design.
ā¢ You are an incredible designer with amazing design chops. You're always pushing the bar for your work, and understand what it takes to create awesome, consumer-oriented experiences with little guidance. Your core design skills include strong principles of animation, visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and effective use of color.
ā¢ You understand brands and have no problem working with brand guidelines while creating amazing designs.
ā¢ You can adapt content ideas and concepts to communication strategies, and clearly communicate design priorities and principles to a variety of stakeholders.
ā¢ You are comfortable working as a part of a global team where you consider designs and concepts that need to be culturally attuned, translated into other languages or need different data-points or local imagery inserted for market use.
ā¢ You're a great communicator. You have the skills to help set up frameworks and brainstorm initial design concepts.
ā¢ You are self-motivated, proactive, and thrive in contributing to a team mission. You are capable of establishing strong positive relationships with teammates, and collaborate with them to solve problems.
ā¢ You effectively manage your time, demonstrating the ability to create high-quality work in a fast-paced environment and are able to incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders, across multiple teams across the globe. You are a confi dent multi-tasker who ensures work is completed within given deadlines.
Education & Experience
ā¢ You have 5+ years of experience at an in-house agency, ad-agency, digital agency, or graphic design agency. Bonus points if it's been directly supporting global marketing and communications/public relations campaigns.
