Motion is a key part of how Heidi's brand is expressed across product, marketing, web, and other digital environments.This position plays an important role in establishing motion systems that are scalable, flexible, and aligned with Heidi’s visual identity and product design standards.Role OverviewThe Motion Designer will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and expanding motion design systems across multiple platforms. This includes both 2D and 3D execution, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.This is a mid-weight role with responsibility and autonomy, but not a leadership or management position. The role is suited for someone who is highly skilled in motion, systems-oriented, and capable of delivering high-quality work across tools and formats.ResponsibilitiesDesign and build motion systems for use across product, marketing, and brandDevelop reusable motion libraries and templates that support consistencyWork closely with designers, engineers, and marketing to ensure smooth integrationDeliver animations and motion graphics in both 2D and 3D environmentsContribute to the evolution of Heidi’s design system with motion as a key componentDocument motion standards and workflows to support team adoptionStay current with tools and platforms and identify opportunities for improvement or innovationRequirements3 to 5 years of experience in motion design, preferably across brand and productProficiency in After Effects, Cavalry, or similar motion design toolsExperience with 3D tools such as Blender or Cinema 4DUnderstanding of motion systems and ability to create scalable, consistent assetsStrong foundation in animation principles, timing, and visual hierarchyAbility to communicate effectively with cross-functional teamsWillingness to work across disciplines and adapt to new tools and formatsBonus: Experience with interactive or real-time environments, including web animation or game enginesLocation and Working StyleWe are actively hiring within the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and United States as our core regions.
