Mortgage Loan Originator Trainee; BR 21 - 4MM; 12/31/2024
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for taking inbound and outbound calls to convert leads to mortgage loans by using sales skills and product knowledge.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ā Conducts analysis of mortgage loans by examining application and supporting documentation; estimating credit-worthiness; and calculating repayment risk.
Ā Primary point of contact for prospective borrowers as they go through the mortgage process.
Ā Provides customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Ā Completes mortgage loans by monitoring collection, verification, and preparation of mortgage loan documentation.
Ā Completes all compliance requirements to ensure loan integrity/salability.
Ā Responsible for conversion and other performance metrics to drive company profitability.
Ā Maintains up-to-date knowledge of FHA, VA or conventional loan rules, regulations and guidelines through a combination of educational classes, correspondence courses on the job training.
Ā Protects bank's image by keeping mortgage loan information confidential.
Ā Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Ā 2+ years of experience working in a mortgage loan originations capacity.
Ā Sales and service-oriented
Ā Proficiency in MS Office and mortgage software
Ā Comprehension of lending procedures.
Ā Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment as well as part of a team.
Ā Ability to analyze information and make informed decisions.
Ā Strong organization skills and detail oriented.
Ā Must exhibit professionalism.
