Role Overview
• Position:
Biology Professional – Independent Contractor, Remote
• Commitment: 10–20 hours/week (potential to extend to 40 hours/week)
• Duration: 1–2 months
• Join an exciting collaboration with a top AI research lab. Contribute to developing AI systems replicating real-world workflows in life sciences.
Responsibilities
• Evaluate Biology outputs produced by AI systems for quality, accuracy, and alignment with scientific objectives.
• Create challenging problems in Biology to stress-test AI reasoning and analysis.
• Contribute to data generation and evaluation processes informing the next generation of large language models.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance the accuracy and rigor of model outputs.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines and improve AI model performance.
Requirements / Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications
• PhD in Biology or a directly related field from a top university
• 2+ years of academic (research, publication, teaching) or professional experience
• High attention to detail and exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree completed in the U.S., UK, Canada, or Europe
Engagement Details
• Competitive hourly rate of $65–85 USD/hr
• Weekly bonus incentives ranging from $20–100/hr
• Independent contractor
• Weekly payment via Stripe Connect
• Fully remote and asynchronous — flexible working hours
