Medical Assistant (Full-Time, W-2)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting patients, working closely with healthcare providers, and managing both clinical and administrative responsibilities.
Position Details
• Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2
• Schedule:
• Monday - Friday
• 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (flexible)
• 30-minute lunch break
Key Responsibilities
• Process prescription refill requests as directed by healthcare providers, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Prepare and maintain patient charts by accurately updating information in the electronic health records (EHR) system
• Monitor and respond to patient portal messages with professionalism and compassion
• Coordinate communication between patients and providers to ensure clear and timely information exchange
• Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and managing documentation
Compensation
• $22 per hour during the initial 90-day (or less) probationary period
• $24 per hour following a successful 90-day performance review
Benefits (After 90-Day Probationary Period)

Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfort working with EHR systems and patient portals
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Patient-focused, reliable, and detail-oriented
