Responsibilities
Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a highly motivated individual for a Software Developer position to assist in ongoing development of a cloud-based licensing application. Candidates considered for employment within the ALI development organization must be well-rounded, self-motivated, and team players. Candidates must be able to adapt quickly, by learning methodologies and technologies through formal and ad-hoc training as well as on-the-job training. The candidate will be working on a team that is focused on providing licensing and telemetry to the Hexagon ALI suite of products.
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications.
• Support, maintain, and document software functionality.
• Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
• Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
• You will be working in a Scrum team environment with a talented group of professional software developers.
• Assignments require the use of independent judgment, and the application of programming/software principles, theories, concepts, and design patterns appropriate for each application.
Duties include intermittent on-call requirements for technical support, limited to 2-3 days / month from 8AM-8PM Central.
Education / Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline with 3 to 5 years of hand-on software development experience.
• Good problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical thinking skills required
• Good verbal and written communication skill
• Skills in Mobile development, .NET Maui, C#, .NET, C++
• Understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, Object Oriented Design and Data Structures.
• Working knowledge of .Net Framework
• Genuinely excited about technology, have a strong interest in learning and playing with the latest technologies.
• Understanding of agile software development methodology (scrum) is a plus
