It’s time for you to love what you do!As the Autobahn Fort Worth Mobile Service Technician, you are the off-site face of our dealership—combining strong technical capability with exceptional customer service to deliver premium service directly at our clients’ homes or workplaces. You’ll conduct multi-point inspections, perform minor maintenance, complete software updates and select recall repairs, and clearly communicate vehicle needs in a positive, consultative manner.As a Mobile Service Technician with Autobahn Fort Worth, you will be responsible for:Customer Experience & Communication· Serve as the face of the dealership during all off-site service visits· Greet customers professionally and represent brand standards· Perform and review multi-point inspections directly with customers· Clearly explain inspection findings, maintenance recommendations, and next steps· Deliver an exceptional customer experience focused on trust and transparency· Maintain consistent communication with service advisors and dispatchMobile Service Operations· Perform mobile multi-point inspections· Provide minor maintenance services, including:o Oil & filter changeso Tire rotationso Brake fluid serviceo Battery replacemento Wiper replacement· Perform software updates and select recall repairs as authorized· Utilize OEM diagnostic tools and follow manufacturer procedures· Document inspection results and services accurately in dealership systems· Photograph and upload inspection findings as requiredVehicle & Equipment Management· Maintain cleanliness and a professional appearance of the mobile service vehicle· Ensure organization of tools, fluids, parts, and diagnostic equipment· Manage proper transport and storage of oil, fluids, and service materials· Maintain inventory of commonly used maintenance items· Follow safety and environmental compliance standardsTechnical & Brand Standards· Cross-train across multiple vehicle platforms and brands· Follow OEM repair procedures and service bulletins· Stay current on software updates and technical training· Maintain ASE certifications (preferred)Qualifications:· High school diploma or equivalent· Experience performing maintenance services independently (field/mobile experience a plus)· Strong customer-facing communication skills; ability to explain technical information clearly and confidently· Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment, tablets, and dealership software· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively· Willingness to submit and pass pre-employment background check and drug screenPreferred (not required):· ASE certifications· Experience with OEM diagnostic systems· Prior mobile service experience· 2+ years of automotive technician experience
