Plans, organize and control the launch, control room functions, international functions or offload Ensures a high level of service and on-time launch at a minimal cost. Directs all other necessary activities which provide optimum service to FedEx express customers. Essential Functions • Directs revenue recovery and audits. • Inspects service elements, ensuring efficient manual sort and distribution. • Selects, trains, and motivates hourly employees. • Ensures compliance with corporate policies and procedures. • Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education High School diploma/GED. Minimum Experience • One year experience in FedEx supervisory/lead roles, ex. Ramp agent/Ops Lead/Team Lead OR • Two years management experience (for external candidates) OR • Completion of a certified internal leadership development program, including AiM. OR • Bachelor's degree OR • Twelve months general FedEx operations experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. With appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Must successfully complete weight and balance training if managing any trunk ramp agents.
