MEP Site Engineer
Responsibilities: - Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary data - Collaborate with project managers and design teams to develop engineering plans and specifications - Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and construction documents using CAD software - Perform system design and analysis for various infrastructure projects, including wastewater systems - Assist in construction estimating and cost analysis for proposed projects - Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards - Provide technical support during construction phases, including reviewing submittals and responding to RFIs - Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety of construction activities - Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues that arise during construction Requirements: - Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred - Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to site development and infrastructure projects - Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or similar) for drafting and design purposes - Familiarity with software such as MicroStation, SWMM, Bluebeam, and Revit is a plus - Experience in construction management or field supervision is desirable - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
