Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a Mental Health Therapist to be part of our Open Access Center Team. Optional work locations in Sylva, Waynesville or Brevard North Carolina.

A newly hired Therapist/Behavioral Health Service Provider can receive a sign on bonus of up to $5,000.00, depending on the service agreement chosen. Service contracts are for 1, 2, or 3 years.

What You'll Do:

The Open Access Clinician recognizes the importance of individuals having timely access to services. This position allows individuals who are seeking behavioral health services the opportunity to engage in services through a walk-in clinic model. This position will be primarily be focused on adult and child initial assessments but will also provide specialized assessments both in person and through telehealth. Open Access clinicians are imbedded in the Recovery Education Centers and they provide assessment, crisis intervention, and brief individual support services to individuals with a broad range of mental health and substance abuse issues.
What We're Looking For:
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Required (fully or provisionally licensed or license eligible)
• 2 years clinical work experience preferred
• LCAS or LCAS-A licensure a plus
• Ability to perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop and implement viable treatment plans
• Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred
• Experience in individual and group therapy including recovery work
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Bilingual a plus
