Mental Health Therapist, LCSW, LMFT, LPC
Job Description:
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy to patients via telehealth
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in our electronic medical record
• Participate in care coordination with our PMHNPs and psychiatrist when needed
• Follow internal clinical guidelines, documentation standards, and compliance requirements
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA and telehealth regulations
• Conducting new patient intake screenings
• Scheduling patients for both your own therapy sessions and for our psychiatric nurse practitioners
• Assisting with patient communication and follow-up
• Helping identify appropriate provider–patient matches based on clinical needs
• Supporting workflow improvements and contributing to a positive patient experience
Requirements:
• Active LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license in Virginia
• Experience providing virtual therapy for adults (experience and comfort with ages 7+ preferred)
• Strong organizational skills and comfort balancing clinical and operational responsibilities
• Strong technical skills - you will need to be fluent in a variety of software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while engaging as part of a collaborative team
• Professionalism, empathy, and reliability in a remote clinical environment
• Prior credentialing with Virginia payors preferred but not required
