As a Mental Health Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers, from clinics and physicians to patients and medical staff, by providing expert guidance and assistance. **Responsibilities** As a Mental Health Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include: * Coordinating testing services for patients by reviewing test request forms and additional documentation, ensuring accurate and timely testing. * Collaborating with healthcare providers to complete required documentation and sample submission. * Confirming insurance eligibility and benefit levels. * Communicating with patients to explain insurance coverage benefits and test information, including process and turnaround time. * Managing assigned work independently, meeting production and quality metrics, and working closely with the technology, revenue cycle, field sales, and lab teams to ensure prompt handling of orders and billing processes. * Identifying issues and trends, and collaborating with your team and leadership to develop best practices that ensure exceptional service and experience for all customers. * Participating in the Quality Assurance plan and adhering to applicable CLIA and HIPAA regulations. **Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you will need: * A High School diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of relevant experience, or an associate or bachelor's degree. * Fluency in Spanish is preferred, but not required. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and provide clear, concise information. * A high net typing speed, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure. * Proficiency in PC applications, including Excel, Word, Internet, and email. * Strong organizational and task management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. * A passion for problem-solving and identifying patterns, with a willingness to learn and adapt. * A hardworking attitude, with a commitment to teamwork and supporting others. **Physical Requirements** This role requires sedentary work, with occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds. You will be required to work in a stationary position, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, observing, pushing or pulling, and reaching.
