Mental Health Counselor

Counselor Connect is a 2-sided online mental health marketplace that’s putting the control back in the hands of therapists and clients by providing a space where care is affordable, convenient, and agency driven; AND we're looking for experienced Mental Health Therapists to join our team.In this role, therapists will work directly with clients to facilitate the change process by helping them learn and implement both healthy and effective ways of coping through online counseling. This role requires someone who can work independently, and has a passion for assisting those in need with meeting their goals and becoming the best version of themselves. This individual must also be ready to walk away from burnout, and into professional freedom.Counselor Duties and ResponsibilitiesConduct regular online counseling appointments with clients in need of non-crisis related therapeutic interventionEstablish positive and trusting therapeutic relationships with clientsImplement various treatments and protocols, appropriately addressing client needsContinually assess client needs and provide the appropriate ongoing treatmentsMaintain the strictest confidentiality of each and every clientMaintain all required licenses and the appropriate professional insuranceCounselor Requirements and QualificationsMinimum of a Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related fieldMust be provisionally (must have active Clinical Supervisor) or fully licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, Professional Counselor or Psychologist.1+ year(s) of clinical experience preferred, ideally working directly with clientsExcellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to actively listenSolid relationship-building capabilitiesA positive and compassionate attitudeKeen attention to detailAbility to effectively manage time and prioritize needsWillingness to stay updated on new treatments, protocols, and licensure requirements within the fieldPassion for advancing the therapy fieldAbility to work independently or as part of a teamWhat You Can ExpectWork from homeFlexible work scheduleCompetitive compensationNo burnoutAutonomyDocumentation your waySupportive team of administratorsSimilar Job TitlesMental Health TherapistPsychotherapistCounselorOutpatient TherapistClinical Therapist
