Medicare Advantage Bid Strategy Director
Seeking a highly skilled and analytically driven Medicare Advantage Bid Strategy Director, the full-time remote position will manage benefit design, financial modeling, and competitive positioning to optimize the MA benefit portfolio, collaborating with executive leadership and utilizing AI tools to enhance bid operations.
Key responsibilities:
ā¢ Develop and maintain bid financial models, including MCR analysis and scenario testing to improve risk posture
ā¢ Build and refine algorithms for plan design, translating strategic intent into implementable benefit logic
ā¢ Conduct market analysis to evaluate plan decisions and communicate insights to senior leadership
Required qualifications:
ā¢ 5-8 years of relevant experience in Medicare Advantage at a health plan or actuarial/consulting firm
ā¢ Direct experience with Medicare Advantage bid mechanics, including understanding of BPTs and MCR constraints
ā¢ Proficiency in SQL for writing complex queries and debugging pipelines
ā¢ Strong modeling skills to build analytical frameworks and interpret complex data
ā¢ Python proficiency for building scripts and automating analytical workflows
