As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will play a critical role in the Pathology department, transcribing dictations from healthcare professionals to create accurate and high-quality patient reports. Job Details:
Location: Remote (with option for onsite work in Apple Valley, CA)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Work Hours: Day shift, 5x8 hours (07:30 - 16:00), Monday to Friday, no weekends
Job Responsibilities:
Perform medical transcription tasks with high accuracy and efficiency
Transcribe dictations from healthcare professionals in the Pathology department
Utilize computer software and equipment to produce high-quality patient reports
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulatory requirements
Collaborate with the medical director and Histology Supervisor as needed
Requirements:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
Five years of experience as a medical transcriptionist in a pathology department
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in computer use and ability to read and transcribe English words and numbers
