We are seeking a skilled Medical Transcriptionist to join our team at our Torrance, CA location. This part-time position requires prior hospital transcribing experience and involves transcribing medical reports dictated by healthcare professionals. Responsibilities
ā¢ Listen to recorded dictations from healthcare professionals

ā¢ Transcribe medical reports, including patient histories, physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and treatment plans

ā¢ Ensure accuracy and completeness of transcriptions
,
ā¢ Edit and proofread transcriptions for errors or inconsistencies
,
ā¢ Maintain confidentiality of patient information
,
ā¢ Follow established guidelines and formatting requirements
,
ā¢ Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear dictations
Requirements
ā¢ Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
,
ā¢ Strong knowledge of medical office procedures and documentation
,
ā¢ Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy
,
ā¢ Familiarity with transcription software and equipment
,
ā¢ Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
,
ā¢ Excellent listening and communication skills
,
ā¢ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

ā¢ Prior experience as a Medical Transcriptionist is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates the necessary skills and qualifications.
