Medical Transcriptionist (Full-Time) - Remote Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to join our team at Stormont Vail Health. As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for transcribing dictation from healthcare professionals in a timely and accurate manner. This is a full-time, remote opportunity that offers a competitive salary and the chance to work with a leading healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:


Transcribe reports, including but not limited to pathology, cardiology, clinic and office notes, radiology, and letters
Edit PowerScribe reports as needed
Contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction and process improvement
Maintain confidentiality of patient reports and information
Audit provider documentation for accuracy on a weekly basis
Meet daily average minimum production of 100 minutes
Type STAT requests as necessary
Perform additional duties as assigned by the transcription manager or director of the department


Requirements:


1 year of typing or transcriptionist experience (preferred)
Proficiency in complex medical terminology
High degree of concentration and attention to detail
Ability to work under deadline pressure and with frequent interruptions
Excellent judgment and communication skills


Work Environment:
