Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Medical Transcriptionist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for transcribing medical reports and documents dictated by healthcare professionals. Your work will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate patient records and supporting the overall efficiency of our medical office.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Transcribe audio recordings from physicians and other healthcare providers into written documents with high accuracy.
ā¢ Review and edit transcriptions for clarity, grammar, and medical terminology.
ā¢ Ensure all documents are completed in a timely manner while adhering to confidentiality standards.
ā¢ Maintain an organized system for storing and retrieving medical records.
ā¢ Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear dictations or terminology.
ā¢ Stay updated on changes in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to enhance transcription accuracy.
Skills
ā¢ Proficient in transcription with a strong attention to detail.
ā¢ Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
ā¢ Solid understanding of physiology and anatomy to accurately interpret medical dictations.
ā¢ Familiarity with medical terminology to ensure precise documentation.
ā¢ Excellent typing skills with the ability to produce high-quality work under deadlines.
ā¢ Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare providers.
