Medical Transcriptionist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Transcriptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physiology, medical terminology, and anatomy. This position involves transcribing and typing medical reports for a busy medical office.
Duties...
- Listen to recorded dictations from healthcare professionals
- Transcribe and type medical reports, summaries, and patient histories
- Ensure accuracy of medical terminology, spelling, and grammar
- Edit transcribed documents for clarity and consistency
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Communicate with healthcare professionals to clarify dictation as needed
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical transcription or recent education in the field
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficient in typing and using transcription software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
