Job Title: Non-Clinical - Health and Information Management - Medical Transcriptionist
Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Apple Valley, CA (onsite)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Work Hours: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 - 16:00)
Description:
Shift:5x8 M-F - 0730-1600 - No Weekends
Job Responsibilities/Summary: Perform project functions as designated by the medical director and overseen by the Histology Supervisor. Projects include those that require knowledge or processes, regulatory requirements, and quality in the Pathology dept.
Education Requirements: Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent and/or required work experience
Requirements: five years as transcriptionist in a pathology department
Preferred Requirements: Excellent oral and written communication skills and to be proficient in computer use. Must possess the ability to read and transcribe English words and numbers.
