Medical Records Coordinator

They are seeking a Medical Records Coordinator to ensure the accuracy and organization of medical records while providing support to attorneys and clients. Responsibilities Maintaining various files, logs, medical records ensuring accuracy and completeness of information Assembling patients' health information including patient symptoms, medical history, exam results, reports, and billing Reviewing and ensuring all patient forms are completed, properly identified, signed, and are uploaded in preferred style Communicating as needed with physicians and other health care professionals to clarify and obtain information Submitting requested documentation to physicians or for use in legal actions while following patient consent and confidentiality protocols Optimize medical records and billing operations to support business growth Enhance communication skills for patient and physician satisfaction Implement new processes for efficiency and scalability Foster positive stakeholder relationships to support cross-functional collaboration Grow as a leader on the team and mentor future hires on processes and best practices Skills You have a go-getter mentality, pay high-attention to detail, and are hyper-organized You have outstanding written and verbal communication skills You have experience maintaining accuracy of patient's medical records, and have some working knowledge of HIPAA and other medical insurance regulations and terminology for private payer, state and federal plans including coding, billing, and reimbursement protocols You can comfortably navigate the MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel You have worked in the legal industry (the personal injury space would be a huge plus) Benefits 401k Healthcare, Vision and Dental All the equipment needed for you to do your role effectively Flexible working Remote or hybrid working options Personal Development budgets 18 days PTO plus public holidays 10 paid sick days Inclusive policies designed by our team, for our team Company Overview Scan.com is a b2b2c diagnostic imaging platform serving both the UK & USA markets.
