What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle incoming calls in a Call Center environment while maintaining 93% availability
- Greet patients, collect co-pays, and schedule follow-up appointments and referrals
- Support departmental clerical duties and ensure quality service to patients
- Provide timely and courteous assistance to patients requesting care
- Assist with maintaining patient confidentiality and good patient relations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 6 months related experience
- Accurate computer and keyboarding skills
- Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles
- Proficiency in operating telephone systems, PCs, printers, photo copiers, and fax machines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and structured environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Some medical background preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology desirable
- Sensitivity in human relations and customer service skills
- Comfort in asking patients for co-pays and race collection
