Ā Monday: 9am-6pm
Ā Tuesday-Friday: 8am-5pm
Ā Saturday 8am-12pm (starting in June and only select Saturdays)

Job Description
Join a dynamic and growing optometry practice as a Medical Receptionist, where you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every patient. As the friendly face and voice of the practice, you will greet and assist a diverse patient base, with a focus on facilitating clear communication and building strong relationships with the predominantly Spanish-speaking community.
Responsibilities
Ā Warmly welcome patients and efficiently manage incoming calls and appointment scheduling
Ā Collect necessary patient information and create detailed route slips with demographics and insurance details
Ā Verify insurance benefits and ensure accurate data entry for seamless billing processes
Ā Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including processing payments and uploading files
Ā Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy
Ā Maintain organized patient records and ensure proper filing systems
Ā Support the efficient operation of the practice through various administrative duties
Requirements
Ā Fluency in both English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ā Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role (preferred)
Ā Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail
Ā Proficiency with computers and basic office software
Ā Friendly and professional demeanor, with a genuine commitment to outstanding patient care
