Medical Provider Appeals Analyst

The Travelers Insurance Company is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Provider Appeals Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be part of the fast-paced and ever-changing healthcare industry and be responsible for conducting detailed research and analysis of complex medical claims appeals. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of our business by ensuring the accuracy of claims and resolving customer disputes in a timely manner.We are looking for an individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box. The ideal candidate should also have a strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. A minimum of two years' experience in the healthcare or insurance industry is required, as is prior experience with medical claim appeals. Knowledge of medical coding is also required. Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed research and analysis of complex medical claims appeals.
Ensure accuracy of claims and resolve customer disputes in a timely manner.
Utilize problem-solving skills and think outside the box.
Maintain a strong attention to detail.
Communicate effectively with both written and verbal communication.
Work independently and collaboratively.
Maintain a minimum of two years' experience in the healthcare or insurance industry.
Possess a strong knowledge of medical coding.
Provide excellent customer service.
Resolve complex medical claims disputes.
