Join a Visionary Wellness Group Leading the Future of Integrative & Functional Medicine

Wellness Docs is redefining the healthcare landscape through a root-cause, patient-centered approach. We are a fast-growing, multi-disciplinary collective specializing in physical medicine, hormone optimization, IV therapy, and regenerative treatments. Our mission is to move beyond "sick care" and help our patients achieve true vitality, longevity, and peak performance.

We are seeking a Medical Oversight Physician (MD or DO) to serve as the clinical anchor for our team. Your primary role is to provide expert medical oversight to our autonomous Nurse Practitioners. If you are a licensed Ohio physician who believes in the power of an integrated team and wants to provide high-level clinical governance without the burnout of traditional hospital systems, you belong on our team.

What You’ll Do & Key Responsibilities
• Direct Clinical Oversight: Provide dedicated medical oversight and collaborative supervision for our Nurse Practitioners practicing within our physical medicine and wellness framework.
• Quality Assurance & Chart Reviews: Conduct thorough, periodic reviews of patient chart notes across our Hamilton and Montgomery locations to ensure strict adherence to Ohio state regulations and our clinical "Gold Standard."
• Clinical Mentorship & Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for our NP team to assist with clinical questions, complex case presentations, and diagnostic "second opinions."
• Integrative Protocol Guidance: Review and provide insight on holistic treatment plans, ensuring that all protocols—from regenerative injections to functional metabolic plans—are delivered with medical precision.
• Compliance Leadership: Ensure the practice remains at the forefront of medical safety and ethical standards within the fields of integrative medicine and physical rehabilitation.
• Virtual Team Collaboration: Act as the clinical "Brain Trust" during virtual rounds, helping our multidisciplinary team of Chiropractors, PTs, and NPs connect the dots for patients with complex health goals.
• Administrative Synergy: Collaborate with leadership to refine standing orders and medical policies that facilitate a seamless patient experience.

Qualifications
• Education: Doctorate degree from an accredited Medical School (MD or DO) required.
• Licensure: Current, active, and unrestricted Ohio Medical License in good standing required.
• Residency Requirement: Per state regulations and our community commitment, you must live and practice within the State of Ohio.
• Mentality: A strong interest or background in Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine, or Integrative/Functional Medicine.
• Leadership Ability: Proven ability to provide mentorship and oversight to multiple providers while maintaining a supportive, professional tone.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; you must be approachable and available for clinical inquiries from the NP team.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable utilizing cloud-based EMR systems and virtual communication tools (Zoom/Slack) for efficient remote oversight.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us as a Medical Oversight Physician:
• Total Professional Freedom – This is a "Lifestyle Role." Manage your chart reviews and NP oversight on a flexible schedule that respects your private practice or personal time.
• Zero Burnout – No hospital rounds, no "on-call" pagers, no weekends, and no administrative headaches.
• Professional Freedom – Focus on being the clinical expert while our team handles the marketing, billing, and logistics.
• Professional Alignment – Finally, a role where you can oversee medicine you actually believe in—prevention, optimization, and vitality.
• Supportive Leadership – A positive, team-centered atmosphere with a mission-driven executive team.

Start Your Journey with Us
If you’re ready to leverage your medical expertise to lead an elite team of physicians and be part of a team that’s truly transforming healthcare in Ohio, we want to hear from you.
