Medical Only Claims Examiner | Remote

Our client is seeking to add a Workers’ Compensation Medical Only Claims Examiner to join their Nevada team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing Nevada medical only workers' compensation claims from inception through closure, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and deliver excellent customer service. This is a remote, temp to perm position. Responsibilities: • Handle Las Vegas, NV medical only workers' compensation claims with minimal supervision and guidance from the manager. • Conduct timely investigations and oversee medical treatment plans to ensure appropriate care and cost-effective outcomes. • Maintain active file management, accurate reserving practices, and timely documentation. • Facilitate early return-to-work when appropriate and identify potential claim escalation. • Coordinate with providers, injured workers, and employers to ensure smooth claim resolution. • Participate in training activities and maintain adherence to departmental Best Practices. • Present potential escalating or complex claims to leadership when needed. Requirements: • 2 - 5+ years of Medical Only Workers’ Compensation claims handling experience. • Strong knowledge of Las Vegas, NV Workers’ Compensation law. • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
