Medical Laboratory Technologist - Remote

Laboratory Express Diagnostics is seeking a certified Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) to join our Laboratory team in a 100% remote capacity. Position Overview: This is a fully remote position allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States. You will be responsible for reviewing laboratory test results, providing technical consultation, quality assurance oversight, and supporting our laboratory operations remotely using advanced laboratory information systems. Key Responsibilities: • Review and verify laboratory test results for accuracy and quality • Provide technical consultation to laboratory staff and healthcare providers • Monitor quality control procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory standards • Troubleshoot analytical issues and provide remote technical support • Maintain laboratory accreditation standards (CAP, CLIA) • Participate in proficiency testing and quality improvement initiatives • Review and approve laboratory protocols and procedures • Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory directors Required Qualifications: • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science • ASCP, AMT, or equivalent MLT certification required • Active state licensure where applicable • 2+ years of clinical laboratory experience • Strong knowledge of clinical chemistry, hematology, and microbiology • Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS) • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Reliable high-speed internet connection Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science • MLS (ASCP) or MT (AMT) certification • Experience in multiple laboratory disciplines • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (CAP, CLIA, FDA) • Previous remote work experience • Supervisory or leadership experience Benefits: • 100% Remote Work - Work from anywhere in the USA • Competitive salary: $60,000 - $75,000 annually • Comprehensive health insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision) • 401(k) retirement plan with company match • Continuing education reimbursement • Professional development opportunities • Paid time off and holidays • Home office equipment provided • Flexible scheduling options • License and certification renewal support Laboratory Express Diagnostics is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
