New York Plastic Surgical Group is looking for a Medical Accounts Receivable to join our Garden City, NY office.
LOCATION: Garden City/Remote. HYBRID SCHEDULE

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:
Review EOBs for accurate contract/non contracted payments and work on all correspondence daily to arrive at appropriate claim resolutions.
Prepare and send written appeals with appropriate documentation.
Complete refund request letters and attach appropriate documentation.
Prepare write off requests accurately and attach appropriate documentation.
Update patient demographics and insurance when necessary
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
College Preferred
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Certification Preferred
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of medical insurance collections experience
Working knowledge of CPT & ICD10 Coding
Experience in working all insurance denials.
