- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with medical billing team to resolve any insurance-related issues
- Utilize knowledge of ICD-10 coding and medical records to accurately verify insurance information
- Work closely with the medical staff to coordinate insurance verification for GYN procedures
Ā *Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in insurance verification in related field
- Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD-10 coding, and HIPAA regulations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with insurance companies and patients
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical office environment
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and insurance verification software is a plus
