As a Medical Information Manager at ICON, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and dissemination of medical information to support our clinical research initiatives. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that accurate, relevant, and up-to-date medical information is provided to internal stakeholders and external partners. What You Will Be Doing: • Managing the medical information function, including the development of standard operating procedures and best practices for the collection, review, and dissemination of medical information. • Overseeing the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely medical responses to inquiries from healthcare professionals and internal teams. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of medical information with clinical study protocols and regulatory requirements. • Training and mentoring team members on medical information processes, therapeutic areas, and relevant regulations. • Staying current on industry trends, medical literature, and regulatory changes to inform and enhance medical information strategies. Your Profile: • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. • Significant experience in medical information management or a related field within the pharmaceutical or clinical research industry. • Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines and best practices related to medical information and communication. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex medical information to diverse audiences. • A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance in all medical information activities.
