Exciting opportunity for a Medical Dosimetrist at Yale New Haven Health for our Griffin Hospital location in Derby, CT – Hybrid Coverage Schedule The APEx/ACR accredited, nationally recognized Department of Radiation Oncology at Yale New Haven Health (YNHH) and Yale School of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated individual for our clinical practice at Griffin Hospital in Derby, CT. Requirements include MDCB certification (or eligibility). Graduation from an accredited Medical Dosimetry program is desired. Experience in Eclipse/Mosaiq is strongly preferred. The larger department offers a full range of radiation therapy treatments including IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, TBI, and TSET using modern linear accelerators. Other special procedures include Gamma Knife SRS, and a full suite of HDR and LDR brachytherapy. Responsibilities include: • Develop 3D and VMAT external beam treatment plans • Perform image fusions with various image data sets to include CT, MRI, and PET • Collaboration with fellow dosimetrists, physicians, physicists, and other members of the department • Mentor / onboard new hires in dosimetry, as needed Opportunities include: • A hybrid schedule that allows for a work / life balance • Work on teams to implement new technologies • SRS planning • Help educate dosimetry students, radiation therapy students, physics, and medical residents • Initiate or help to develop clinical research projects Benefits include: • Competitive and comprehensive benefits package • Professional dues and certificate maintenance reimbursement • Opportunity to attend educational activities Yale New Haven Health has clinical practices across the CT Shoreline from Greenwich to Waterford.
