Medical Director - National Accounts (Remote)
Job Summary:
CVS Health, a leading national health care company, is seeking an experienced Medical Director to oversee medical policy implementation and provide clinical expertise for our national accounts. As a Medical Director, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical programs to address member needs across the continuum of care. Key Responsibilities:
Provide oversight for medical policy implementation and medical management programs
Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical programs
Support Medical Management staff to ensure timely and consistent responses to members and providers
Oversee utilization review/quality assurance and direct case management
Provide clinical expertise and business direction to support medical management programs
Act as lead business and clinical liaison to network providers and facilities
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in health care delivery system (e.g., clinical practice and health care industry)
Active and current state medical license without encumbrances
M.D. or D.O., Board Certification in a recognized specialty
Preferred Qualifications:
Health plan/payor experience
Electronic medical systems/record experience
Managed Care experience
