Summary
As the Medical Director at Recovery Beach, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the medical treatment of patients battling addiction. Your expertise will guide our clinical team in delivering high-quality care while ensuring compliance with medical regulations and standards. This position is essential in shaping the future of our addiction treatment programs.
Responsibilities

Oversee all medical aspects of addiction treatment programs, ensuring high standards of patient care.
Supervise and mentor clinical staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Develop and implement treatment protocols that align with best practices in addiction medicine.
Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and other relevant healthcare standards.
Conduct research to improve treatment methodologies and patient outcomes.
Manage medical records and documentation to maintain accurate patient information.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care strategies.

Requirements

Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in psychiatry or addiction medicine preferred.
Extensive knowledge of physiology and anatomy as it relates to addiction treatment.
Proven leadership experience in a clinical setting, particularly in addiction services.
Strong understanding of managed care systems and budgeting processes.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff.
