Full Job Description Medical Credentialing Specialist - Remote (DFW Residents only) 2 yrs exp req Position Highlights Credentialing services for physicians in multiple states, locations, and specialties. Credentialing for carrier/payors as well as hospital privileging. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Task oriented for projects to be completed and follow up scheduled. Work hours Full Time 35 - 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday flexible schedule between 7am to 6pm. Highlights We offer the flexibility to work from home without commute. What You'll Do Coordinate the practice credentialing needs to include network participation, hospital affiliation and maintaining profiles. This will include submitting for new providers, building their profiles, obtaining applications, ensure all are accurate and submitted. Follow-up tools are mandatory, keeping it flowing to completing. Medical Credentialing - Duties and responsibilities • Maintain provider files • Initial and re-credentialing of providers with payers • Initial and re-credentialing of providers with facilities • Keep track of important dates • Update providers, management, and co-workers on new credentialing information • Keep updated on healthcare credentials, medical licensing and certification requirements • Assess Facility Practices, review facility-specific rules and regulations for compliance with internal processes • Auditing paperwork such as applications and licensing documentation for accuracy • Processing privilege requests for providers • Understanding of current healthcare laws and regulations • Recognize and understand credentialing guidelines • Maintain an updated database – track licensing, compliance with federal standards, completion of necessary training and continued education • Continue regular communication with Manager and Practice Administrator • Other duties as assigned Experience Credentialing 2 years (Required) Medical Credentialing Qualifications • Modio experience preferred • Microsoft Office 1 year (Required) • Credentialing experience 2 years (Required) • Physician Payor Credentialing 1 year (Preferred) • CAQH, PECOS, NIPPES experience (Preferred) • Self-motivated (Required) Must live in the the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex (Texas) Job Type Full-time Benefits • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Application Question(s) • What are your salary requirements? • Do you live in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex?
