Medical Courier Driver
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. The Courier Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining positive relationships with our clients.
Responsibilities
? Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
? Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of all materials.
? Follow established routes and schedules while being flexible to accommodate changes as necessary.
? Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for tracking purposes.
? Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
? Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition at all times.
? Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during transit.
? Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of goods.
Requirements
? Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
? Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job.
? Familiarity with route driving and navigation skills using GPS or maps.
? Experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
? Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients.
? Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
? Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
? High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional certifications related to commercial driving are advantageous.
Anyone with previous Amazon, FedEx, UPS experience is preferred.
