This role offers the ultimate flexibility for skilled home health coders looking to supplement their current employment while supporting a premier healthcare system known for its "patient-first" mission.
The Best of Both Worlds: Remote Flexibility with Local Support
This position offers the flexibility of being fully remote; however, candidates must reside within a commutable distance of Boardman, OH, to attend required on-site training sessions.

Job Highlights
• Role Type: Per Diem (Flexible hours).
• Work Style: 100% Remote (Post-training).
• Focus: Specialized coding for home health clinical encounters.
Qualifications
• Experience: Prior medical coding experience specifically in a Home Health setting is required.
• Certification: Must hold a current coding certification (AAPC or AHIMA), such as: CCS, CCA, CPC, RHIT, COC, ACA, or CIC.
• Proximity: Ability to commute to Boardman, OH for initial training.
Key Responsibilities
• Accurately assign CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes for home health clinical encounters to ensure compliant billing.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency in a remote work environment.
• Ensure all coding practices align with current facility and regulatory policies.
