Medical Coder/Biller
We are looking for retina biller with experience who is a certified coder for ophthalmology . With on-site biller, we are interested in candidates to assist remotely provided they perform duties with utmost professionalism and with high work ethics. Some of the duties will be to ensure claims are processed correctly, appeal denied claims, answer patient questions, work closely with the administrator on following up on outstanding claims, and collect and review prior authorizations and referrals. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining up to date policies with our payers. MRES is a sub-specialty retina practice in Brockton, MA. We treat patients with sight threatening diseases who require close monitoring. Our practice is based on close teamwork and communication between all staff in order to provide the best patient care possible. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to fill this role. Patients and medical staff will turn to you for information and help with billing questions. Our medical biller should be efficient and well-spoken with experience in a medical office. Associates or Bachelor's degree Minimum of 5 years experience as a retina/ophthalmology biller. Outstanding problem-solving and organizational skills. Experience in modmed EMR/PM preferred.
