Medical Billing Data Entry Clerk
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Medical Billing Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for entering patient information, billing details, and insurance information into our healthcare system. You will help ensure that medical claims are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Responsibilities: • Enter patient demographics and insurance information into the system. • Verify patient billing information for accuracy. • Review and correct errors in billing data to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Follow up on unpaid or denied claims, ensuring prompt resolution. • Maintain and update patient records as needed. • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations. • Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Previous experience in medical billing or data entry is a plus, but not required. • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare billing procedures. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Proficient in using computer systems and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office). • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
