We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring accurate coding of medical records, and facilitating the timely collection of payments. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems, and billing procedures within a medical office environment. Responsibilities
• Process and submit medical billing claims to insurance companies and patients.
• Review patient records for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all necessary documentation is included.
• Utilize ICD-9, ICD-10, and DRG coding systems to accurately code diagnoses and procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical billing regulations and compliance requirements.
• Follow up on unpaid claims and manage collections effectively.
• Communicate with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance representatives to resolve billing issues.
• Ensure that all medical records are maintained in accordance with privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with the medical office team to streamline billing processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications
• Proven experience in medical billing or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, coding systems (ICD-9, ICD-10), and DRG classifications.
• Strong understanding of medical records management and healthcare reimbursement processes.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in using billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
