Assist providers in delivering high-quality patient care by taking vitals, obtaining medical histories, and preparing exam rooms.
Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment to ensure the safety and comfort of patients.
Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other healthcare team members to facilitate efficient and timely care.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to minimize wait times and maximize provider productivity.
Accurately and efficiently document patient information in electronic medical records.
Perform basic medical procedures, such as administering injections and collecting laboratory specimens, under the supervision of a provider.
Educate patients about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventative care measures.
Handle patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating to providers when necessary.
Collaborate with other medical assistants and clinic staff to ensure smooth and coordinated patient care.
Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Stay current with industry developments and participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge.
Contribute to the overall functioning of the clinic by completing administrative tasks, such as ordering supplies and maintaining inventory.
Prioritize and manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
