Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal medicine and urgent care, with a solid understanding of medical terminology and anatomy. This role involves providing both clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment, ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities
Ā• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
Ā• Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, and administering injections as directed.
Ā• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in electronic health systems.
Ā• Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow within the clinic.
Ā• Provide medical administrative support, including handling phone calls, processing insurance information, and managing patient inquiries.
Ā• Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a clean and organized clinic environment.
Ā• Educate patients on treatment plans and medication instructions as necessary.

Experience (not required)
Ā• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Ā• Familiarity with internal medicine practices and urgent care settings is highly desirable.
Ā• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and outpatient procedures is essential.
Ā• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient information effectively.
Ā• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
