Media Strategist
β’ This is a 40-hour per week contract position*
Our client is looking for a senior-level Paid Media Strategist to support growth across key international markets via paid media, including the UK, France, Germany, Spain, and Australia. This person will play a highly strategic and hands-on role, partnering closely with country marketing managers and the paid media team to optimize campaign performance, shape creative direction, and drive market-specific insights. This is not a junior campaign execution role. Weβre looking for someone who understands how all pieces of the funnel work together β media, creative, testing, analytics, and localization β and can continuously refine strategy based on performance and consumer behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Develop and optimize paid media strategy across multiple international markets
β’ Manage and/or support media buying across platforms including Meta, Google, and other paid channels
β’ Monitor campaign performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities
β’ Analyze market-specific performance trends and translate insights into actionable recommendations
β’ Partner with creative and marketing teams to provide guidance on messaging, creative performance, and testing strategies
β’ Design and interpret campaign tests, learning agendas, and iteration plans by market
β’ Collaborate closely with country marketing managers and the paid media team to align strategy and execution
β’ Continuously refine campaigns based on consumer behavior, cultural nuances, and performance data
β’ Communicate strategic recommendations clearly and confidently to stakeholders
Qualifications
β’ Significant experience in paid media strategy and campaign optimization
β’ Strong hands-on experience with platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager
β’ Deep understanding of performance marketing analytics and attribution
β’ Experience supporting international or multi-market consumer brands
β’ Familiarity with European and/or Australian consumer markets strongly preferred
β’ Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution
β’ Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced, startup-like environments
β’ Strong communicator with a collaborative, curious, and self-directed working style
