The Media Buying Associate will be responsible for executing high-impact campaigns, negotiating cost-effective media buys, and fostering partnerships with clients and media vendors. Responsibilities Secure cost-effective delivery across TV, OOH/DOOH, Radio, and CTV without compromising on quality or brand safety Treat media vendors as partners, not just "sellers." Act as the client's budget guardian Manage contracts, actuals, and revisions with 100% accuracy and transparency Prioritize local media opportunities and diverse Canadian perspectives to ensure campaigns resonate in our unique market Use nLogic and Excel to prove value Skills 1-3 years of media buying (TV/Radio/CTV) in the Canadian market Proficiency in MediaOean, DDS/Prisma, nLogic, and the standard Google and MS Office suite Associate or Bachelor's degree in Media, Marketing, or a related field A track record of success driven by critical thinking and a desire to challenge industry assumptions Understanding of how the dollars flow and what great can be You believe in doing the right thing, even when no one is looking Understanding of the Canadian media landscape and the importance of supporting domestic journalism and platforms Value collaboration over ego Math-proficient, detail-oriented, and obsessed with eliminating waste in media spend Understanding of compliance and quality Benefits Hybrid Work: A perfect balance with 3 days in the office for team connection and 2 days remote.
