Are you a compassionate Licensed Vocation Nurse experienced in providing diverse basic care to those who are in need of patient and calm care? T&T has opportunities for you that are demanding but also very rewarding.
Responsibilities
β’ Record a patients medical history accurately
β’ Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
β’ Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
β’ Monitor patients condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts
β’ Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc.
β’ Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks
β’ Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
β’ Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
β’ Communicate with patients family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions.
Requirements And Skills
β’ Proven experience asLVN
β’ Current CA LVN license
β’ Current BLS/CPR issued by the American Heart Association.
β’ Able to pass a drug screen and background.
β’ Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team.
β’ Familiarity with hospital health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
β’ Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
