Responsibilities
Ā Review high-dollar self-pay accounts to determine eligibility for medication or implant assistance based on departmental policies.

Ā Work with drug manufacturers to qualify patients and ensure timely completion of all qualifying accounts.

Ā Maintain ongoing communication with hospital departments regarding assigned accounts to facilitate efficient handling and resolution.

Ā Keep logs of approved accounts by facility and ensure proper handling of charges on approved accounts.

Ā Stay updated on applicable regulations, policies, and procedures by reviewing materials and attending in-services.

Ā Demonstrate proficiency in using all relevant systems and programs within the department.
Requirements
Ā A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy or healthcare setting with pharmacy knowledge required.
