Mechanical Engineering Manager
Overview:
Our ENERCON Federal Services Group is looking to hire a Mechanical Engineering Manager. In this role, your leadership will not only drive project success, but it will also help us achieve overall business goals. This position can be remote.
Responsibilities:

You’re the key liaison, approving designs, mentoring engineers, and building strong client relationships. Your leadership fosters growth, solves technical challenges, and ensures your unit thrives—delivering outstanding results and advancing both individual and company success. Leadership & Motivation: Lead teams with a positive attitude to achieve project goals aligned with ENERCON's excellence standards Collaboration & Coordination: Interface with clients to ensure quality and deadlines on exciting design projectsCommunication: Lead various internal engineering disciplines and delegate project rolesDesign & Estimating: Prepare design studies, scopes, and engineering estimatesProcurement & Specifications: Develop mechanical system procurement specs, evaluate bids, and select equipmentTechnical Expertise: Perform mechanical, HVAC, hydraulic, piping system calculations and solve complex technical problemsField Engagement: Travel for walkdowns, field installations, and start-up #LI-SH7
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university, or equivalent work and training in a related role Minimum of 6 years of design engineering experience in power generation, nuclear, federal, or industrial industriesRequires 2 years of leadership PE is required for this roleWriting, presentation and communication skillsProficient in Word and Excel
Pay Range:
USD $120,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.
