Mechanical Engineer – REMOTE – Solidworks, Continuous Motion Machinery

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in SolidWorks and experience designing continuous motion machinery. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development, improvement, and optimization of mechanical systems for high-speed automated equipment. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving skills to deliver innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for continuous motion machines using SolidWorks. • Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings that meet industry standards. • Perform tolerance analysis, stress calculations, and material selection for mechanical systems. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, controls, manufacturing) to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs. • Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems during development and production phases. • Identify opportunities for design improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and bolthires-effectiveness. • Maintain documentation and adhere to company design standards and quality processes. Qualifications • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related is preferred. • 3–5+ years of mechanical design experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. • Proficiency in SolidWorks (including advanced modeling and simulation tools). • Hands-on experience with continuous motion machinery or high-speed automation equipment. • Strong understanding of mechanical principles, kinematics, and material properties. • Familiarity with GD&T, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
