Meals on Wheels Driver - Albion, NY Summary: Ensures the safe delivery of food to program participants.Essential Functions: Responsible for the preparation of carriers for outgoing food. Responsible for loading carriers in vehicle for transport. Complete all logs and paperwork required. Deliver MOW route. Adheres to the Code of Conduct for Staff Members and Volunteers which is included in the Personnel Manual. Conducts self in such a manner as to meet agency policies and standards at all times. Performs any other duties as deemed necessary by Nutrition Program Manager, Director of Business Services, Associate Executive Director of Day Services, Executive Director. Punctuality and attendance during scheduled work hours are essential functions of this position. Nonessential Functions: Participate in corporate compliance and quality assurance activities Other related duties as assigned Reporting Responsibilities: Reports to Nutrition Program ManagerSupervisory Responsibilities: None exercisedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must be clean, organized and have the ability to follow and carry out directions with little supervision. Must communicate in a professional manner. Physical Requirements:Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 40 pounds.Minimum Requirements: This position requires a valid NYS Drivers License with an acceptable driving record as determined by Arc GLOW. High School diploma or GED is preferred. Driving and delivery experience preferred.
