Math Tutoring Expert (High School Level) - Competitive Hourly Rate & Flexible Schedule
Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Math Tutor to join our team of educators, providing in-person tutoring to high school students in Spring, TX, and surrounding areas. As a Math Tutor with our established local firm, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic journeys, helping them achieve their full potential in math subjects such as Algebra I, II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, personalized math tutoring to students in grades 9-12, tailoring lesson plans to meet individual learning styles and academic goals
Conduct 60-minute in-home tutoring sessions, providing a supportive and engaging learning environment
Develop and implement customized lesson plans, assessing student progress and adjusting instruction as needed
Collaborate with students' families to ensure they are informed of progress and involved in the learning process
Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, including student progress, scores, and areas for improvement
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Education, Mathematics, or related)
Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or test preparation, with a strong focus on math education
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with students and families
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as well as a willingness to work independently and remotely as needed
Self-motivated and committed to helping students succeed, with a passion for education and a growth mindset
